Buses diverted from Filton Ave to Gloucester Rd

As part of the Greater Bristol Bus Network improvements there will be a temporary road closure in Filton Avenue. From 13th July until October 2009.

These changes will result in a more accessable and reliable public transport system. The improvement works will cause some local delays. South Gloucestershire Council will do their best to keep traffic moving and local residents and businesses informed.

Road Closure for traffic heading toward Bristol between the junction of A4174 and Stanley Avenue.

The road will remain open to traffic heading toward the Avon Ring Road (A4174)

Diversion route for general traffic heading toward Bristol

Station Road (A4174) - Gloucester Road North (A38) - Filton Road (A38) - Muller Road- Filton Avenue

Diversion route for buses

• Station Road (A4174) - Gloucester Road
• North (A38) - Filton Road (A38) - Wessex
• Avenue - Filton Avenue

Bus services affected are:

• 70 - University of the West of England to the City Centre
• 71/72- Bradley Stoke to City Centre
• 73- Cribbs Causeway to City Centre
• U1/U2/U5 -Ulink services from University of the West of England to City Centre

A shuttle bus will be in operation to provide a link with the diverted bus services.
